INTRODUCTION.
La jointoyeuse LAPORTE est un outil électrique portatif, destiné à la confection des joints de dallages, de carrelages et de murs parements, briquettes…) de 5 à 25 mm de large.
Il permet un gain de temps supérieur à 50% lorsque l’utilisation de barbotine est proscrite de par la porosité du dallage.

SIMPLE - CONFORTABLE - RAPIDE :
• Simple à utiliser, l’appareil devient familier après quelques mètres de joints réalisés.
• D’un maniement confortable, il s’utilise debout et non à genoux, comme le veux la méthode traditionnelle. Moins éreinté, le poseur est plus efficace, donc rentable dans son travail.
• Rapide, le jointoiement avec la machine permet non seulement un gain de temps de plus de 50% en version sol et de 66% en version murale mais également un gain de matière. A la vente ou à la location chez les négociants de matériaux, elle s’amortit sur un chantier de 200-m2. Pour le particulier qui ne désire pas investir, l’appareil sera proposé chez les loueurs de matériel.

De par sa conception, elle assure en un seul passage un parfait garnissage des joints, sans salir les dalles, les parements ou les briquettes. Elle supprime ainsi le nettoyage à genoux, à la brosse et à l’éponge, et évite aussi de tâcher un carrelage poreux (terre cuite par exemple) ou un parement poreux, surtout lorsque le joint est de couleur différente.
• Sans entretien, toutes les pièces en mouvement du bloc-moteur sont graissées à vie et prévues pour un usage intense. La jointoyeuse est garantie un an, pièces et main-d’œuvre, dans les conditions d’utilisation normale. Le service après vente est assuré par la société LAPORTE.

Prepare a mixture of LP JOINT LAPORTE mortar (it is perfectly adapted to the pointing machine) and water in order to get a creamy consistency (neither too liquid, nor too dry).
Nota : Another mortar can be used (ready-made or sand + cement). Its quality will determinate the end result. The granulation of the mortar will have to be homogeneous and constant (ideally 0,2mm). Filter the selected sand if necessary. Make a preliminary test.
- Do not prepare a too important quantity of mortar, since it might dry before being used (from 2 to 3 fillings maximum: around 20Kg).
- Set the nozzle on the tank for the joint to be made.
- Wet the inner surface of the tank before filling it. (Take care!!! Ensure that the motor block is disconnected).
Plug in the pointing machine
- Work in a sector of 5-6sqm by making the joints in the same direction and while proportioning with the variator gate.
- Make perpendicular joints by modulating the flow in the intersections.
- A tank allows making from 10 to 15 ml of joints according to the thickness of the flagstones and the width of the joint.
- Renew the operation of filling
Nota : unplug the apparatus to fill it again with mortar. Take care not to spread mortar on the motor block.
If this is the case, clean the block with a damp rag without wetting the motor block.
